On Tuesday a man who no one knew walked into our hospital and dropped off his four dogs for boarding. 3 jack russels, one mutt. They were the dirtiest dogs I have ever seen. They are all malnourished and are afraid when I take them outdoors. They pee and poop in their cages and have legs that looks like they have spent the majority of their lives in cages. They are extremely skittish. They don’t know how to walk on a leash. I have taken a shine to Banter the second one down and the one on the right. She is especially skinny and skittish and does not understand grass. Part of me hopes this man never comes back so we can adopt these guys out to homes that will love and care and nourish them. And I would take Banter home. But who knows what will happen. I’ll keep y’all updated. (at Montgomery Animal Hospital)
