I honestly don’t think being XVX would change who I am. I have always been the type of person who respects anothers’ opinions and choices. My best friends are all in the same psychology program as I am, and we all have extremely different views on the best therapies and how we view psychotherapy as a modality for treatment, that doesn’t mean that I tell them they’re wrong. They’re not wrong, their opinions are merely different. I can honestly tell you that being someone who lectures about veganism and straight edge would be incredibly detrimental to my social situations. Back in PA, drinking is typical, smoking weed is hardly worth batting an eye at, and obviously vegan meals aren’t really supplied in restaurants. Where I am right now is at a place where I’d love to discuss the costs and benefits to a XVX lifestyle and a “normal” lifestyle with anyone who would like to discuss it with me, as long as honesty and respect are at the top of the list of interactions. So basically this is a long winded way of me saying, don’t worry, I will be kind and peaceful (but I’m never quiet). Plus I like you, Jared, I won’t be jumping down your throat about this any time soon.
P.S. The only things I attack people for (verbally attack, by the way) is if you insult my friends, my family, or my genetics. Friends have seen me do it, I can get dirty, so be careful, y’all.
